• Gate manufacturing on schedule • Hydraulic cylinders’ factory acceptance testing (FAT) has been completed. Cylinders are prepared for shipping. Anticipated late December 2024 delivery to the Port of Houston

Many homeowners may notice with this update there is a new "substantial completion" date. The added delay days were due to Sundt encountering a gravel layer while driving Bay 3 coffer dam steel sheet piles. The gravel layer allowed seeping water to exceed the sump pump’s capacity. Sundt has since developed an alternative approach to bypass the gravel layer and prevent the coffer dam from allowing excessive water intrusion.
